The festive season is still ongoing and in the next few days, we’ll see the final set of fixtures in the Saudi Pro League before they go on their festive break. We’re over half way through the campaign and although many teams know what they’re aiming for, there are bound to be a few twists and turns in the months ahead. Today, we’ll be taking a look at a fun clash between Al-Fayha and Al-Hilal.
Al-Fayha Form GuideThe measure of success can often be related to how many trophies you’ve been able to win throughout your history, and we can understand why. For Al-Fayha, though, just being able to mix it up with the big boys is something they’ll treasure. They are slowly but surely establishing themselves as a consistent unit, and the rest can come a bit further down the line.
Al-Fayha couldn’t quite keep up against Al-Taawoun in a convincing 4-1 defeat, and then at home to Ah-Ahli, they didn’t fare much better in a pretty convincing 4-0 loss. Their poor run of form continued as they lost 3-0 on the road to Al-Khaleej a few days before Christmas.
Al-Hilal Form GuideIt goes without saying that this season, Al-Hilal are easily the best team in Saudi Arabia. Some have already dubbed them champions elect, and while we wouldn’t go that far, we certainly understand why some would draw such a conclusion. They have superstar names flowing through their squad and as of this writing, they have yet to lose a game in the league.
Yes, Al-Hilal are winning games for fun right now - and they’re doing it without breaking much of a sweat. They battered Al-Taawoun 3-0 in the King Cup of Champions, they did well to beat Al-Wehda 2-0, and then they made a mockery of Abha in a 7-0 battering.
Match PredictionAl-Fayha don’t look great right now and when that’s the case, this is the last game you want to be playing. The visitors are on fire at the moment and it doesn’t seem as if they’re going to slow down, and with that in mind, we’re going to be predicting a dominant Al-Hilal win.
