Did Juventus grab a huge momentum swing on Monday night? Losing 3-0 to Bologna, they pulled things back to draw 3-3 in the final 20 minutes of that game. The race for 3rd is still on, and they welcome Monza on Saturday for the final game of the season.
Juventus Form GuideJuventus have been really poor recently, I have no doubt when saying that, and after 70 minutes on Monday night, their bid for 3rd looked over. But three goals, they pulled it back to 3-3, and with one game to go, are in with a chance for 3rd, tied on points with Bologna above them, and two ahead of Atalanta behind, who have an extra game to play.
But the question still remains over Juventus and their ability to win a league game. They come here on the back of drawing their last six league games in a row after Monday night, but they have won in the cup, beating Atalanta in the Coppa Italia final a couple of weeks ago. They head into the final game of the season, looking for a win to try and grab 3rd.
Monza Form GuideMonza are in 12th place as we head into the weekend, they cannot drop any lower than that, but could move up to 11th, depending on this result and how Genoa get on. Monza are one point behind, but with a much worse goal difference, so it certainly won't be easy.
But they come here on a run of eight games without a win, in that period, they've drawn three and lost five, and they do look like a team that are cruising towards the end of the season with little to play for. They were beaten on Sunday, losing 1-0 at home to relegation threatened Frosinone.
Match PredictionAlthough Juventus haven't won any of their last six games in the league, I think they can grab a win here on the final weekend of the season. They will have to depend on others to grab 3rd, but they can win this one and give themselves a chance.
